Southern Girls Challenge - final post

Hi there & welcome to my last post for Southern Girls Challenge, after 10 years of creating fantastic challenges Tracy & Louise have decided it's time to wrap it up. They have both done a fantastic job but life moves on & priorities change. I really want to thank them for having me on the team the last (nearly) 3 years, I have loved being apart of it & have met an awesome bunch of ladies.

For my last layout I wanted to celebrate life, we are all in uncertain times so it's good to hold onto happy memories. My photos are of my youngest daughter Aimee out with her friends at the beginning of this year at a music festival. I love a simple grid layout & have used a variety of collections, embellies & mixed media on this one.

Thanks for stopping by & take care!!!

P.S. As my blog has been mainly Southern Girls posts lately please check out my instagram where I post most of my layouts @tripneyanne

Southern Girls -Good Stuff

Hi there & welcome to another Southern Girls Challenge. Today I am scrapping another photo from my sisters 50th birthday on the Sunshine Coast, this is both of our hubby's when we were out at lunch one day. This was a couple of years ago & I have only just got around to scrapping them, I think I am being drawn to scrap travel photos at the moment because we can't currently go anywhere & any sort of overseas travel is looking to be a long way off. Anyway I am happy to be staying home with my family & staying safe.

I have used a Vicki Boutin premade mixed media background & have added a little bit of stenciling over the top. These backgrounds are super versatile as you can use them as is or add your own touch to them also. Everything else is from the Vicki Boutin Wildflower & Honey collection, I have kept the embellishing quite simple for this one but I am pleased with how it has turned out.

I hope you are managing some crafting time at the moment, It's such great therapy, isn't it!!!

Southern Girls - Moments Captured

Hi there, it's time for another Team Trace challenge, I hope you are managing some crafting time wherever you are. I am working from home which has been great but not as much crafting time as I had hoped.
Oh well, I am planning some scrappy time with friends online for International Scrapbooking Day this weekend so looking forward to that.

My layout is using the new Pinkfresh Studio Noteworthy collection, the colours are gorgeous & I just love it. The background is Shimmerz Paints & Vicki Boutin glaze and the title is a Bramble Fox perspextive.

My photo is of my mum & myself when we were in Australia for my sister's 50th birthday.

Thanks to our awesome sponsors:

Southern Girls - Best Furry Friends Forever

Hi there & welcome back to another Southern Girls challenge.

We are in lock down here in New Zealand now as is most of the world & while I am still working from home it is nice to be able to spend some time crafting & taking our minds of what is happening in the world. I have always found scrapbooking to be a great stress release, it's good to do something creative.

Anyway another dog layout, this time it's my own two girls curled up together & snoozing, they are very spoilt these two & are totally adored by everyone in the house!

I have used a cute cutfile from Paige Evans which is perfect for this photo. My paper & ephemera are from the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection. I have also used ephemera & puffy stickers from This is a Beautiful Life which was an exclusive Hip Kit Club collection designed by Kim Watson.
The perspextive stars are from Bramble Fox & the stamping is a mixture of Heidi Swapp & Pink Paislee - Paige Evans stamp sets.

Southern Girls - Dare to Dream

Welcome to the February challenge for Team Trace, as all our challenges are now Anything Goes I decided to do a page about my youngest daughters 20th birthday last year. I can't believe it is nearly a year ago & she will soon be having her 21st birthday!

I have used a COAPA (Confessions of a paper addict)
Cut file & backed it with Vicki Boutin's Wildflower & Honey collection. My background was made with Shimmerz paints & my title is a Bramble Fox perspextive. The cute balloons on either side of my cut file are also from Bramble Fox.

Southern Girls - A Melbourne Alley

Hi there, welcome back to the first Southern Girls challenge for the year. This year all our challenges are going to be Anything Goes, this makes it easy for everyone to enter so why not give it a try.

My first layout is based on a trip to Melbourne last year with my sister to visit relatives. We spent a couple of nights in the city, shopping, sightseeing & going to a show. We found this cute little bar which was basically just an alleyway, but they had made it cosy & inviting & we loved the hanging lanterns that you can see in my photos. It was a great spot after a hard day shopping!!

I started off with plain white cardstock which I have stenciled on using a Darkroom Door stencil & then added colour with Shimmerz paints. I have mainly used products from a Hip Kit club kit from last year which included Pretty Little Studio papers & exclusives from Hip Kit. The cute gold arrow is from Charms Creations. For a bit of added zing I have hand stitched in gold thread at the top & bottom of my page.

My layout is based on this Hip Kit Club sketch & I am entering their weekly sketch challenge with it:
