Southern Girls - Sparkle & Shine

Welcome back to another Southern Girls Challenge & this time it is sparkle & shine. Add some glitter, some sparkly bling or something shiny to your project. I have added a super cute sparkly bow to my layout.

I have used the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Happiness collection for my layout, my title is from Bramble Fox, the cut file is from Hip Kit Club & the heart under my bow is Charms Creations.

My photo is another one from a photo shoot in Australia a couple of years ago, I may have even scrapped this one before that doesn't worry me, I love this photo of me & my girls & my sister & we had a great time.

Southern Girls - Autumn

Hi there & welcome  to another Southern Girls challenge,  I am back on Team Trace this week & the challenge is Autumn. It is definitely Autumn now here in New Zealand & has cooled down a lot in the last few weeks. Good staying inside & crafting weather!!

For my layout I have used this gorgeous cut file from the Hip Kit club & backed it with Pinkfresh Studio Everyday Musings collection. My background is Shimmerz Paints & embellies are mainly from the Everyday Musings collection also. Those cute clouds are from Bramble Fox.

Southern Girls - Girl Power

Hi there, I am back with another Southern Girls Challenge & this time the theme is Girl Power. I couldn't think of a better photo for this challenge than this one of my sister taken last year after she was diagnosed with breast cancer & she was picking up her wig. It's such a great shot with the sunlight coming through & shining the heart on her & the light above her head. I had bought this chippie with Vicky in mind & as soon as I saw the photo knew it was a perfect match.

The words on the chippie also describe perfectly how she has handled the whole experience & why I made this layout for this challenge. I am happy to report that nearly a year on she has completed all her treatment, her tumour has gone & she is doing really well!! 😃

Southern Girls - Glitter challenge

Hi there, welcome to our last challenge for the year at Southern Girls Challenge. I can't believe how fast this year has whizzed by & that Christmas is now under 2 weeks away. Time to get organised I think!!
This challenge is Glitter, I love these glittery thickers which I have used for my title & have also added a couple of glittery hearts. Southern Girls - Inks & Sprays

Hi there, it's time for another Southern Girls Challenge & this time it's Inks & Sprays.

For this one I used photos from Georgia's 21st birthday family dinner. They are spread over 2 layouts & will go together in the album (another double not double!). Unfortunately the lighting at the restaurant was not great so the photos are not as good as I would like but hey any photo is better than nothing, right?

Anyway for my inks/sprays I have used Vicki Boutin crayons & using a stencil brush have applied them through a stencil for my hearts background. I have used different colours up the page to match the different colours in the patterned paper. The paper & embellies are also Vicki Boutin, from the new Field Notes collection which I am loving right now.
